Last week Santa Cruz posted a fun video to their YouTube channel featuring Jake Wooten and a bunch of his friends in Nashville trying to break 3 brand new VX decks.
VX decks are thinner, stronger, and have more pop than standard 7 ply decks. They’re made with 5 layers of American Maple and 2 layers of Quad X technology.
Jake Wooten early exposure to the skateboarding scene was on the Camp Woodward series on YouTube. Many will remember him getting to skate with legendary skateboarder Mike Vallely. Jake has become a top men’s park skater and currently skates in Van’s Park Series and Dew Tour competitions.
