In October 1977, the Cramps went into Ardent Studios in Memphis with producer Alex Chilton and recorded a lot of songs — the sessions that gave the world "Surfin' Bird," "The Way I Walk," "Human Fly" and "Domino." In 2026, Larry Hardy of In The Red Records went deep into the Cramps tape vault and came back with six 1/4" reels of tracks from those sessions, mixed by Lux Interior and Poison Ivy. Gravest Gravy is one of the purest collections of unrestrained, wild rock 'n' roll you'll ever hear. Lux and Ivy made this record for you.
