About the Nordic Skull artwork:
The Per Welinder Viking Skull was illustrated by V.C. Johnson in 1984. The fanged fantasy graphic was created to reflect Per's Swedish origins. It was initially assigned to his freestyle model without the rock-texture background, which was added in an updated version in 1986.
Originally released: 1984
Artwork by: Vernon Courtlandt Johnson
Limited Edition
The dip-dyed veneer on this deck is one of a kind. Because of natural variations in the wood grain and dyed veneers, the color and pattern may differ slightly from the image shown.
Powell-Peralta Re-Issue Construction
Powell-Peralta reissue decks are close reproductions of their 1980s counterparts, featuring original top and bottom graphics, shape and concave. Made with U.S. hard rock maple and glue to Powell-Peralta specifications.
