The band was formed in New York City, best known for their early 1990s hits "Two Princes" and "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong". The singles peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 7 and No. 17 respectively. Pocket Full of Kryptonite is the first studio album by the Spin Doctors, originally released in August 1991. The album peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 albums charts. It was the band's bestselling album and was certified 5x Platinum by the RIAA. The album's title is a reference to Kryptonite, a fictional substance from the Superman comic book series.
