Shit Robot's "No Cigar" was recorded in London at Al Doyle andJoe Goddard's Relax And Enjoy Studios, a hanging Chad fromthe sessions that finished 2023's 5 Songs EP. This is slower,dubbier Shit, 110bpm with a spare arrangement and a barelysung vocal saying only, "Close no cigar."It begged for a proper dub for the b-side, something that threw itaround in space but didn't necessarily change it up, somethingthat sounded a bit like African Head Charge and New AgeSteppers and early-80s On-U Sound records. So we asked theguy who made those records, Adrian Sherwood, if he'd have ago. Miraculously, he said yes, and his version is actually exactlyon the money
