Once again, Lost Realm Records have teamed up with French label Under Siege Records to bring you the much-desired vinyl edition of Capharnaüm's debut album. This marks the first time the 1992 classic album is available on vinyl, bringing a cornerstone of French thrash metal to collectors and fans worldwide.Formed in 1990 after the dissolution of Drifter, Capharnaüm was founded by guitarist Laurent Lahierle and bassist Pascal Gregoire, who set out to pay homage to thrash metal titans like Possessed, Slayer, Dark Angel, and Kreator. Joined by Laurent's brother, Olivier Lahierle, on drums, the trio crafted a raw, aggressive sound that captured the spirit of the era. Their early rehearsals, initially backed by a drum machine, evolved into a tight, dynamic unit that began performing in Orleans, quickly building a local following. In 1991, Capharnaüm recorded a four-track demo that garnered attention from fanzines, radio stations, and even the specialized metal press. A unforeseen encounter with journalist Louis Bourgade (R.I.P.) at a Dark Angel concert in Paris led to a feature in the inaugural issue of Metal Attitude magazine, boosting the band's profile. The demo's success fueled regional tours alongside diverse acts like Les Thugs and Mercyless, cementing Capharnaüm's reputation in the French underground. The band's self-produced debut album, released in November 1992 on CD with a limited run of 600 copies, featured eight original tracks plus the 1991 demo recordings as bonus tracks. Lauded by critics, the album earned glowing reviews in Metal Hammer France and an unexpected nod from rock magazine Best, a rare feat for a thrash metal release. Despite outreach to major labels like Nuclear Blast and Roadrunner, the band's uncompromising style didn't align with mainstream trends, making this vinyl reissue a long-overdue celebration of their legacy. This limited edition vinyl, meticulously remastered for optimal sound quality, includes the eight original studio songs specially composed for the album, offering fans a definitive version of groundbreaking work.

After buying fake bones bearings off eBay from a different seller a long time ago I was skeptical on buying any more bearings online but I wanted to give eBay another chance and give this company a try. Shipping was fast and the bearings I received were definitely real this time. Definitely would shop online here again in the future.
