Smiths, The – The Pablo Cuckoo Tape Color Vinyl LP Record Unofficial Release

In May 1983 (exact date unknown), while preparing to record their debut album, The band ran through & recorded a selection of songs at a rehearsal in band manager Joe Mossí jeans warehouse (Crazy Face). The cassette tape was recorded for Troy Tate in order to give him something to work with before going into the studio. It's a bit rough at times, but considering it was recorded on cassette with a stereo Mic pointing into the room, the quality is quite good. The recording serves as a precursor to the first album, and is necessary in following the evolution of the band. Packaged in a full color jacket, limited to only 500 copies on 180 gram vinyl.
